This graphic was inspired by two fundamentally different images. The grittiness of a vintage style photograph depicting an industrial steel bridge with its hard, sharp angles is juxtaposed with a Japanese peasant carrying a paper umbrella and the delicate nature of his folding robes. In combination they create a striking graphic where East meets West, old meets new.
